The Community Fridge will be trialed with the support of environmental charity Hubbub UK in a growing effort to tackle food waste. We are calling all local food businesses/allotment holders in Wigston to donate surplus food.
The Community Fridge will enable residents and businesses to share surplus food and for anyone to help themselves to quality food that would otherwise be wasted. We aim to help people in need in the Wigston and surrounding area and decrease food waste at the same time.
