The Fridge is being run by Flash Company Arts, which is based at the Flowergate Hall Community Centre in Whitby, where their pay-as-you-feel People’s Kitchen is located.
“Where people won’t come and sit in the cafe and eat, we’ll put food up in the community fridge so they can take it away with them. We’re going to start developing that so that maybe there’ll be food that you can sit down and eat at a cafe, but there’ll also be a takeaway aspect to that in the community fridge.”
