We are running a Community Fridge to help solve some of the food waste issues within the UK. Sadly the average household will throw away around £470 worth of food a year. Meanwhile 4 million people in the UK are living in food poverty. While Community Fridges won’t end this they will certainly help a little. Our Community Fridge is open to everyone, spreading a little love and happiness and even helping some of those most in need. We take good quality surplus food and other goods such as flowers, canned goods, toiletries etc which are placed in our Community Fridge for anyone to come and help themselves.
