What to do with 8kg of tomatoes and boxes of onions? Pasta sauce, tomato soup? Recipes for both are on hand at Bristol’s first ever ‘Community Fridge’. Opened within Compass Point Children’s Centre on 30 January 2019. It has had over 100kg of chilled and dried food pass through its doors, with donations from Lidl, Tesco and FareShare South West. Serving the community of Bedminster and beyond with the ethos of developing a food sharing community.
