The Chesham Community Fridge project is run under the auspices of Kings Church Chesham in conjunction with the Hubbub Foundation. It is a non-profit charity project that aims to redistribute surplus food to the general community that would otherwise become food waste. It aims to relieve pressures on household food budgets; provide a community area that fosters sharing and collaboration; reduce local business food waste, and raise public awareness around this food issue.
The project will be run indefinitely and funded through grants and donations.
