Bemerton Heath Community Fridge

Bemerton Heath Community Fridge

about

St.Michael’s Community Centre
The fridge in St Michael’s Community Centre, Bemerton Heath, was opened on Tuesday (April 16), officially by Mayor of Salisbury, Mike Osment.

The public will be able to donate a variety of produce and meals to the fridge, which allows others to then help themselves.

“Our main aim is to combat food waste and become part of the National Community Fridge Network.”

The initiative is working with various volunteers and organisations in the area, including local supermarkets, Bemerton Heath Residents Association, Wiltshire Community Foundation and more.
